Dollar Store Thankfulness Thanksgiving Centerpiece Craft

This Thanksgiving Centerpiece Project becomes an affordable way to decorate, and to teach your kids about being thankful! It’s not time-consuming like a lot of the “thankfulness crafts” that I have seen online. I really loved the concept of being thankful every day, but was unsure how to implement it in our home — and this was my solution this year.

Here is  how to create your own family Thanksgiving / Thankfulness Centerpiece:

Purchase a cardboard Thanksgiving centerpiece from the Dollar Store. If you don’t have a Dollar Store, I would recommend looking at Walmart, Party City, Target, or even online.

Each day in November, have every family member write one thing they are thankful for, and sign    their name.  If your child cannot yet write, you can ask them what they are thankful for, and write it for them. By Thanksgiving Day it should be completely filled with “thanks”.

Total cost of project — $1.00!  And so far my children have really enjoyed this Thanksgiving project.
