I really hate the scent of strong bleach type cleaners, so I have been on a search to replace them with more natural smelling cleaners when possible. Recently, I discovered Citrasolv at our local grocery store. This is my honest review of Citrasolv cleaner, and I am not being reimbursed by the company in any way for this opinion.
What is it? Citrasolv is a natural multi-purpose cleaner with real essential oils. It is valencia orange scented, and honestly smells great! I have used it on everything (after all, it is “multi-purpose”) from the dining room tablecloth to the toilets and bathroom sinks. It doesn’t have the strong chemical smell at all, which I can definitely appreciate.
How much does it cost? Citrasolv natural cleaner is more pricey than other cleaners. I paid over $4 for a bottle at the grocery store, and it is around the same price on Amazon:
What is in it? I posted the back of the Citrasolv bottle, for those of you who like to read all the ingredients. They offer a full refund with the receipt, I noticed, in case you aren’t 100% satisfied. I noticed they also offer Citrasolv wood cleaner and glass cleaner, both of which I want to try sometime in the future.
How well does it work? As for how well it cleans, I think it does a great job on most surfaces. I still prefer regular glass cleaner for mirrors and other glass, and it isn’t really a substitute for bleach (on things like mildew). However, for your average every-day cleaning, I definitely recommend Citrasolv natural multi-purpose cleaner.
